About us...
KARL KANAI
Born in 1970, Karl Kanai is a native of Detroit, Michigan. In 2002, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration, with honors, from Detroit's College for Creative Studies. Several of Karl's works have won both local and national awards. You can learn more about Karl by reading his bio at www.KarlKanai.com .
P'NINAH (say "pah-NEE-nah") KANAI
Born in 1969, Pninah Kanai is also a native of Detroit, Michigan. In 1991, she earned a Bachelor of Arts
in Communications, with honors, from Michigan State University; and in 1998, she earned a certificate
in Graphic Design and Advertising from Parsons School of Design in New York. She then built a career as a graphic designer and production artist, first in New York and then back home in Metro-Detroit.

KANAI CREATIVE, LLC
Married in 2007, it was only natural that P'ninah and Karl began combining their skills. They created Kanai Creative, LLC to serve as a hub for their various joint and individual projects including Kanoo Zoo, Kanai Design, and Karl Kanai Art and Illustration.
